In some cases, the Epiphan Pearl will not respond or operate for live streaming or recording. One usual symptom is that the stream or record button on the Dashboard is greyed and will not allow to be pressed.
Please check the following.
Log in as Admin and from the Dashboard menu select Admin (or use the Admin shortcut on your desktop if you have one).
- Check your SD Card or Hard Drive Capacity. If it states that it is corrupted or missing, check if there is a banner at the top stating here is a pending firmware update available. Perform the update. The Storage should recover after the upgrade is completed.
- Ensure all recording file that you wish to keep have been backed up and then remove from internal storage or SD Card.
- Ensure the firmware has been updated to the latest version 4.24.0 or above.
